Undocumented Immigrants

This topic is a very controversial thing to talk about considering that there are 2 sides. The people that are not documented and the people that are documented. Majority of the people that are documented would argue that these undocumented immigrants are breaking the law and they are committing a felony. I myself could agree with this statement. However, my parents are undocumented so it is hard for me to say that they are breaking the law and that they should simply return to their country. They are always working and they never cause any trouble and they cooperate with the rest of the laws. I feel like for those that are documented, they should have empathy and really think to themselves why they feel like it is important to get rid of these undocumented immigrants. One thing I noticed was that when Mr. Stewart asked us for our opinions during class rarely anybody gave their opinion. Only 2 people participated and this reminded me of one of the readings that we did not too long ago where people were most likely to commit a crime if they were anonymous. I feel like if we were anonymous most of the class would have contributed if we were asked this question by Mr. Stewart.
