White supremacy
I never knew about jack Johnson, maybe i just didn't really care about anything that has to do with great America. The more we learn about segregation and Jim crow, I get more annoyed. People did the most to get people from Africa and sold them, they brought us into this and then didn't want us. How can you blame someone for something you did. Its sad, Lynching, destroying of property, and threatening lives, for what ? if they caused all this, then didn't want anything to do with it. Not everything bad lasts forever, eventually everything comes to an ends. At some point it has too, did white supremacists think it was going to be their way forever. Watching about what people had to go through because of their skin it surprises me.

I mean its obvious that people like to be superior than others even if it means that they had to make another race feel like shit. Not only this but I mean Africans would do a lot of work that whites would do for free because they were slaves so this is another reason for racism and I guess people don't care about others when your trying to better Your own life.
ReplyDeleteWhites brought over slaves from Africa in order to relieve themselves from labor that could be done for free. Having "lesser" people doing much of their work for them served as a way for them to feel superior and more powerful in their own lives, ultimately leading to the foundation of racism and segregation.
