Iran earthquake

On Sunday evening, one of the worst earthquakes in Iran and Iraq history hit Iran and Iraq. It had a 7.3 magnitude and became the deadliest earthquake this year. Then on Monday, eight more tremors hit, in Iraq, the tremors were felt at 7am, 12pm, and 6pm and the strongest magnitude was 4.8. In Iran, tremors were felt at 12am, 3am, 7am, 11am, and 4pm and the strongest magnitude was 4.9. Overall 452 people were killed and thousands were injured. In Iran, which was hit harder, 530 people were killed and 7,817 were injured. In Iraq, 10 people were killed and about 430 people were injured. The big problem now is finding shelter because of all of the wreckage and destruction. No help has been provided yet but we can change that by donating money to relief funds and raise awareness about the situation.

  1. That's awful. I think its good how you are mentioning this event because many people tend to not care about the news and don't know whats going on around them. I am with you on donating money or helping in anyway, no one should never just be left without help when something this big happens to them.

  2. It's disheartening that it's a problem that people are trying to find shelter after a disaster. I mean, it shouldn't be problem when the government has the power to help. We're talking about the Iranian government and the Iroquoian government after all.
