Psychopath vs. Sociopath

Psychopath and sociopath are often viewed as the same and confused by each other while they are mostly the same and consider the same characteristics there are still key differences that prevent us from completely saying these are the same. These words can be interchangeable while one not knowing the true significance or difference. While these words both have to do with one being distant, manipulative, and emotionless, not being able to empathize with others. Psychopaths are biological as one could develop or launch into an illness from birth or through there lifetime and cause them to become psychopaths. While this is true it could be set off to one's offspring it would not affect all people unless there is some form of trauma that sets in motion this part of the brain, for example having bad childhood experiences which create abnormalities and affect one's brain. This is proven as there is a study on 120 prisoners done showing the effect on there brains seeing that most have a special chemical view in their system when experiencing some sort of pain instead of guilt or sorrow there release a chemical that is related to pleasure, not the normal one people deal with that brings empathy. Psychopathic brains like when others are in pain.
Sociopaths, on the other hand, are much easier to explain. While they have the same symptoms were psychopaths in their lack of empathy. Sociopaths do in fact know what is right or wrong and have a sense that if they are doing bad they are in total control and management to have knowledge of what is incorrect. But the main reason they differ is that psychopaths know what they are doing but their decisions that are supposed to be normal but aren't unintentional. An example of this is a psychopath will not know whether it is bad to have good decisions. Their beliefs and decisions are quite different from those of others and are tweaked to differ. Sociopath, on the other hand, would be completely aware of there actions and know what is wrong.
