Human Behavior
As humans, reactions are a natural occurances we deal with everyday. It's something that our body automatically does, wether we like it or not. In class, we have learned about horrible experiments that humans have practiced on other humans. We have discussed that we cannot imagine to be part of these practices because we are not. Personally, I feel like I would never be able to be apart of the experiments unless I was physically forced to. I guess it's not my say though because I am not there, in the moment. I don't really understand how your mindset can just change based on the kind of people that are around you. I suppose this is where peer pressure comes in and what we saw how an individual responds differently after seeing everyone else's answers.

I agree with you. I personally feel like I have high moral and ethical standards, and would not do these terrible things if I was put in these situations. However, I know I can not confirm this. I'm sure that most of the people in these experiments thought the exact same about themselves. I believe that diffusion of responsibility is the most important factor in these experiments. When people feel like their actions will not be punished because someone else is in charge, or because they were told that they are not responsible for the results, it can cause them to do things that they normally would not.
