Girls and Dress Code

In the documentary we watched about the girl who was posting scandalous pictures, it was apparent that the majority opinion was that she was too young to be wearing what she wore and posting what she was posting. I don't think it's fair to say that what a girl wears or posts makes her beg for attention. A lot of people dress for themselves and not to impress others. Although she was very young, and many of us did not dress that way at that age, everyone should have the ability to express themselves in someway and for a lot of people it is through fashion. A lot of school dress codes for example only target specific girls maybe of a certain race or who are more developed for wearing the same clothes that someone else is and it is completely unfair. A big reason for being dress coded might be that it distracts others, but how is it fair that people can't wear something just because someone else doesn't know how to look away or pay attention in class. If schools are going to have dress codes then they need to always be enforced for every student, or not exist at all.
