Uber to allow sexual assault and harassment victims to sue company

As of today, Uber announced that riders and drivers will now be able to file allegations of rape, sexual assault, and harassment in courts. These new rules were set by Uber chief executive, Dara Khosrowshahi. This shows that Uber is taking this issue more seriously. Now, these new rules will bring more complaints on minor things like a driver asking the rider on a date, but these new rules are important. What do you think about these new rules for Uber?Uber cab

  1. I think this is really beneficial for uber riders because they will feel like they are in safer hands and if anything does happen they have somewhere to report it to.

  2. I think that it is a good idea although some of those complaints can be false but some Uber drivers do have camera's in their cars so it can be very helpful.

  3. I'm glad that this is now something uber riders are able to do. I've never had a bad experience in my uber drives but I've read many cases in the internet about how people have had bad experiences so it just makes people feel safer.
