Peta video of Undercover investigation reveals cruelty in pet suppliers for Petco & Petsmart

A recent video by Peta shows animal cruelty in Holmes farm a pet supplier for both Petsmart and Petco.  The expose video shows animals being housed in plastic tubs used for holiday decorations, old blankets, or anything that is stored in an attic.  Holmes farm supplies hamsters, mice, rats chinchillas, ferrets, rabbits, and replies.   Peta's video first showed an employee putting a cat in a bin full of small mice in which they were torn apart. The Cat roamed freely tearing apart small animals left on the floor to die.   Small animals were forced to drink contaminated water.  An employee grabbed a chinchilla by its tail and threw it into a bin just a few feet away.  Peta's spy never saw the animals get any veterinarian treatment. Animals who were sick were drowned, gassed, or frozen alive.  During PETA's three month investigation an observes found hundreds of small animals dead in bins with no food or water.  Based on PETA's evidence a  team of U.S.  Department of Agriculture  (USDA)   and the  Douglass Township police department raided Holmes farm.  The reports concluded that they were at least 117 violations of 14  federal laws.  36 animals need veterinary care, they were decomposing animals in the same bin as live ones.   A free roaming cat near a bin full of guniea pigs, an ammonia stench so strong that it burned federal agents eyes and noses, and testimonies from employees saying they " learned to kill unwanted animals on the internet".  In March 2018 the manager of Holmes farm pleaded guilty to 28 counts of animal cruelty.
