My Senior Project
For my senior project, I did it on service animals and in the beginning I wasn't sure if I was going to be satisfied with it since I really wanted to do something a little bit more interesting. Though I was unable to do my Fiji experience one, I happily decided to do mine about service animals. Working at a vet office, I get dogs that come in, that serve as a service animal. It is very interesting to see the different interacts that they have with us (employers) vs their owners. Through this experience and time that I had to make a documentary I learned so much more on service animals and was really happy the way it came out. I was able to tie my family into it a little bit since my uncle has PTSD and I have two cousins that are disabled. Being able to tie my family into it was helpful since it wasn't a random topic that I was willing to talk about but because my family members could use a dog during sometimes in their life.

I loved your video. It was really informative. I honestly did not know that you could take in a service dog and train them yourself before they go into official training. I think it's such a big responsibility, so I could never image myself doing it but it's great that others are doing it. I also agree when you talked about how people get fake service dog vest. It is sad that people would do that just in order to get their dogs into restaurants/malls.
