Senior Project

My senior project was created with the main point of educating my audience and bringing awareness to what puppy mills are really about. I've always been an animal lover. It was until last year that I really found out about puppy mills. For my birthday, my mom gave me the opportunity to get my own dog and so I went online to find one. But while being online, it is when I came across what a puppy mill. When I read about what they were, I immediately told my mom that I was not buying a dog, that I rather adopt one. The cruel things they do to these pups at these places. Never getting them the right vaccination, the proper living conditions, the right food and water they need, nothing.  Sadly, I was not able to adopt my dog. A friend of mine had puppies and she needed to find them a home. The idea of puppy mills still being out there is super disturbing. How come there have been no changes yet? Why isn't the USDA have stricter requirements?
