Jack Johnson
Jack Johnson was an American boxer who was the first African American heavyweight champ. When Johnson would be in the ring he was very quick and fast, he also had very strong hits. Johnson had a total of 104 fights with 73 wins, and 40 KO's. In 1912 Johnson was charged with violating the Mann Act. Johnson then ran away because he didn't want to get locked up. Johnson started to get less motivation for fighting but he wanted to come back to the U.S and the only way for him to come back without going to jail was if he won a fight with Jess Willard on April 5th in Cuba. In Johnson won every round until the 20th round was he started getting weak and tired. Jess Willard won the fight by KO.
