Should Schindler actually be forgiven?

Oskar Schindler was a member of the Nazi Party who was known for saving the lives of many Jews during the holocaust. Schindler saved them by employing them into his factories in Poland. Oskar Schindlers motivation at first was the money with his businesses but then he realized he wanted to save the Jews and employ them in his factories. Schindler saw how the Jews were being treated and realized that it wasn't right for them to be treated that way. Schindler knew he wanted to help the Jews out when he saw a little girl in a red dress hiding from the SS men. Later Schindler saw that little girl's dead body in a pile with other bodies.

  1. I feel like Schindler should still be forgiven because he saved so many lives.

  2. Although his initial motives may not have been so admirable, Schindler ultimately did save the lives of many jews who would've otherwise died in a horrific manner.
