Do your first amendment rights apply when you are online?
After watching the article, "Where do your first amendment rights end online?", I learned something interesting about the internet. I learned that a certain white supremacist website The Daily Stormer was cut its ties with GoDaddy, Google, and Cloudflare, and then did not have an outlet onto the internet. They could not speak their ideas. However, there is nothing wrong with what GoDaddy, Google, and Cloudflare did, as they are private companies and have the right to choose who they work with. It seems fair to me that if you have an idea that everybody disagrees with, there must be a reason and doesn't have a place on the internet. On the other hand, I believe that The Daily Stormer could find some other outlet on the internet if they really looked around. What do you think about your rights on the internet?

I believe that your 1st amendment right should be allowed to be exercised over the internet, exercising freedom of speech in this case. Anyone can say anything they want, just as long as it does not put anybody in harm's way or causes some speculation of danger. It makes sense that Google and all of these other companies cut ties with Daily Stormer for expressing their white supremacist views, as they most likely do not agree with it and do not want their consumers to know they are doing business with white supremacists.
