As we look at evidence about the death of Michael Brown to
determine whether or not to indict Darren Wilson. If we choose to, it is
important to decide with what charges. Should we charge Darren Wilson with
murder or manslaughter? To decide to first what he is being charged with lets
summarize the definition of each. Murder is generally defined as an intended
killing unlawful and is performed premeditated. Manslaughter is a killing
without initial intent to do so. After looking at your notes and the definitions
of both of these, what do you think he should be charged with or do you think
he shouldn’t be charged at all?
I feel that Darren Wilson should be charged with at least something, he shouldn't have gotten away with nothing as other have told me and I remember watching the news when he had gotten away with it. In my opinion, if I had to choose between the two, I would have to choose manslaughter because he did but didn't know what he was doing and that he should have at least been charged with manslaughter and not "knowing" what he was doing.
