Honduras Election

Honduras is going through an unresolved election, this has brought extreme riots which have forced the government to make a curfew as an attempt to contain the violence. A week after the election the Honduran people still don't know who the president will be, President Juan Orlando Hernandez was accused of manipulating the results. The people have the right to know the president will be and this has to be a clean election.  There was a plan to recount the votes on Saturday but it was delayed because the opposing party did not show and both parties must be there in order to count the votes. Sunday morning there was a peaceful march to show that they needed to know the votes, the people didn't want to be cheated. One man said “It's a symbolic act, to show that we are marching for our children's future that is being stolen by corrupt politicians,” the people of Honduras are in fear that they are being cheated by their government and demand to know who the president will be. It is interesting to see how other places in the world react to this but I wonder what would happen if this happened in the US.
