In a more recent documentary on Ferguson, a video was released that could change things seriously. In this video, it shows Michael brown going into the convenience store much earlier in the morning around 1 am. He gives a brown bag to the cashier and takes cigarillos. However, right before he's about to leave, he hands the cigarillos back.
Speculations have been made that he was exchanging marijuana for cigarillos and then was keeping the cigarillos there for safekeeping.
However, some dispute it saying that it wasn't an exchange and the reason he left it behind was that he hadn't paid for it yet.
Does this change anything about the case? Is it relevant to consider?
I think whether or not it interferes with the case depends on the person and the previous perspective they had on the case. If you originally thought he stole, then this would be reassuring he didn't, but if you had a prior assumption it may only support his wrong doings.
