Has social media exposed the violence in USA?
There have been many incidents that thanks to the public have changed the way we do things now. There have probably been many incidents in the past that we haven't seen because someone didn't record it or didn't "show" it to the "internet world", but now with the technology of today we have seen that it is so easy to "put something out there" and cause a riot because there are other people that share the same ideas that you do. There are many examples of this, but two of the best cases that show this are Audrey and daisy because they were ignored and no one really cared about them, but as soon as the Internet world heard of their story they made it into a huge things and wanted justice for both of these girls, because of what they had to go through. Both of these girl's cases were shown to the world that then put the perpetrators on blast and the community for what they did. Now these two cases are big because rape is something that most people think that rape is bad,for Audrey her justice came later after she killed herself, but for daisy the internet community was kind of like her big brother that was willing to protect her even though almost all her community was blaming her. Now most cases on the internet don't go as big as these two but the internet does help cases like these go viral and before you know it there are lots of people on the internet that are willing to help these victims.
