NYC Hit and Run Incident

Early Sunday this morning, a white Hyundai sedan was driving around New York City when something unexpected happen. The driver of the sedan hops out of the car and stabs two people to what seems to be a result of a parking dispute. The driver then hops in the car and drives half a block until hopping on a curb, hitting six more people, and finally speeding away. One person struck by the car was pronounced dead at the scene, another in critical condition, and the rest of the victims hospitalized. This was no classified as a terrorist attack. Although his actions were not justified, have you guys ever been in a parking dispute? If so, how did you handle it/ react to it?

  1. I have been in a parking dispute before when i was at the store a car took the parking place we were waiting for, at first we were mad because we were clearly waiting for that spot. We honked at the car and did flip them off but realized it was not worth it and went on and found a different parking spot closer to the store.

  2. I have actually not been in a parking dispute that I could think of but reacting to what happened here, I wonder if there was a back story of this guy before he went on and hit all of these people. I know that back in October, there was a guy that hit a pickup truck that went down a bike path along the Hudson River in Manhattan and killed 8 people as well as injuring 11. He was later shot by the cops and they were saying that, this incident has been the worst terrorist attack in NYC since Sept 11, 2001.
